Ingredients
  

  • 2 large russet potatoes about 1 lb / 450 g
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder optional
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika optional

Instructions
 

  • Wash and slice potatoes into ¼-inch slices.
  • Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat completely dry.
  • Toss with oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  • Preheat air fryer to 180°C / 360°F.
  • Arrange chips in a single layer in the basket.
  • Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Optional: increase to 200°C / 400°F for last 2 minutes for extra crisp.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dip.
