- 2 large russet potatoes about 1 lb / 450 g
- 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder optional
- ½ tsp smoked paprika optional
Wash and slice potatoes into ¼-inch slices.
Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat completely dry.
Toss with oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
Preheat air fryer to 180°C / 360°F.
Arrange chips in a single layer in the basket.
Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway.
Optional: increase to 200°C / 400°F for last 2 minutes for extra crisp.
Serve hot with your favorite dip.
