Ingredients
  

  • Ground beef or sausage 1 lb
  • Pepperoni optional, ½ cup
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese 1 ½ cups
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese ¼ cup
  • Pizza sauce ½ cup
  • Italian seasoning 1 tsp
  • Garlic powder ½ tsp
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Fresh basil optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef or sausage until browned.
  • Drain any excess fat and set the meat aside.
  • If using, sauté your vegetables in the same skillet until softened.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat, vegetables, pizza sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, and serve hot.
