- 1 bunch fresh asparagus
- 8-10 slices bacon
- Olive oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash the asparagus and snap off the tough ends by bending the stalks.
Partially cook the bacon until it’s halfway done for better wrapping.
Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
Place the wrapped spears on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, and serve hot or at room temperature.
