- Ground beef: 1 lb
- Cheddar cheese: 1 ½ cups shredded
- Onion: 1 small finely chopped
- Pickles: ½ cup diced (use dill pickles for a classic tang)
- Big Mac Sauce: ¾ cup made with ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon white vinegar, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, and a pinch of salt
- Lettuce: 1 cup shredded
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a casserole dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine mayo, mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to make the Big Mac sauce.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet, adding onions until soft. Drain excess fat.
In the casserole dish, layer the cooked beef and onions, followed by pickles and half of the cheese.
Drizzle half of the Big Mac sauce on top of the beef, then layer the remaining cheese.
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top with shredded lettuce and serve with the remaining Big Mac sauce.
