For the Biscuits:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 oz cream cheese
For the Sausage Gravy:
- 1/2 lb ground sausage
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter, then mix in egg and cream cheese to form dough. Scoop into 6 portions, flatten slightly, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
Brown sausage in a skillet. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, cream cheese, and spices. Simmer until thickened.
Serve biscuits topped with gravy.
