Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cups cabbage chopped
  • 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large soup pot. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Stir in tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add beef broth and diced tomatoes to the pot. Stir and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add chopped cabbage and stir. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  • Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
