- Steak sirloin, ribeye, or strip – 900 g / 2 lb
- Cajun seasoning – about 2½ teaspoons total
- Smoked paprika optional
- Salt & black pepper
- Avocado or olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Butter – 4 tbsp
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Fresh parsley – 2 tbsp
Pat steak dry with paper towels. Cut into 2–3 cm (1-inch) cubes, trimming any large pieces of fat or silverskin.
Add steak cubes to a bowl. Toss with oil, 1½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add half of the steak bites in a single layer. Sear 1–2 minutes without moving, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes, until browned but still juicy inside. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining steak.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter to the same skillet. When melted, stir in garlic and the remaining 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning. Cook 30–60 seconds, stirring, until fragrant but not browned.
Add lemon juice and stir. Return steak bites (and any juices) to the pan and toss in the Cajun garlic butter for 30–60 seconds to coat and warm through.
Turn off heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, toss once more, and taste for seasoning. Adjust salt or lemon juice if needed.
Serve immediately over cauliflower rice, mash, or your favorite keto veggies, spooning extra Cajun butter sauce over the top.
