Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Breasts: 4 boneless, skinless
  • Fresh Mushrooms: 2 cups
  • Heavy Cream: 1 cup
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 3 cloves
  • Chicken Broth: 1 cup
  • Thyme: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and Pepper: to taste
  • Parmesan Cheese optional: ¼ cup

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Add the remaining butter to the same skillet and sauté the garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the heavy cream and stir, letting it simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!
