Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 large yellow onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • Salt pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika
  • Optional: thyme rosemary, parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a baking dish.
  • Caramelize onions in butter over medium heat for 15–20 min.
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika.
  • Add chicken broth and heavy cream to onions; simmer 2–3 min.
  • Place chicken in dish; pour onion cream over.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake 25–30 min until cooked through; broil 1–2 min for golden cheese.
  • Serve hot with fresh herbs.
