- Kielbasa sausage – 12 oz
- Cabbage – 1 medium head shredded
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 3 cloves minced
- Salt & pepper – to taste
- Onion optional – 1 small, chopped
Chop the kielbasa into 1/4-inch thick slices.
Shred the cabbage and mince the garlic. Chop the onion if using.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
Add the kielbasa to the skillet and cook until browned and crispy, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the garlic (and onion if using) until fragrant.
Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
Return the kielbasa to the skillet and combine with the cabbage. Heat for another 3–5 minutes.
Adjust seasoning to taste and serve!
