  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine almond flour, baking powder, sweetener, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Whisk egg, heavy cream, and maple extract in another bowl, then add to the dry ingredients.
  • Fold in pecans and form dough into a disc, slicing into 8 wedges.
