- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 8 oz mushrooms sliced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup almond milk or broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ tsp thyme or Italian seasoning optional
Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add mushrooms and sauté 6–8 minutes until browned.
Stir in garlic and optional herbs; cook 1–2 minutes.
Add cream and almond milk/broth. Stir well.
Simmer 5–7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
