Ingredients

  • 1 OWYN protein shake
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons PB2 powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ tablespoon keto maple syrup
  • Optional sugar-free chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Pour the protein shake and unsweetened almond milk into a blender or food processor. Blend for a few seconds until the liquids are fully combined and smooth. Starting with the liquid ingredients first helps the blender run more easily and prevents the thicker ingredients from sticking underneath the blades.
  • Add the PB2 powder, vanilla extract, keto maple syrup, and a small pinch of salt into the blender. The PB2 gives the fluff its rich peanut butter flavor, while the vanilla and salt help create a more balanced, dessert-like taste.
  • Blend the mixture for about 30–60 seconds, or until everything becomes completely smooth, creamy, and lump free. Pause once or twice to scrape down the sides if needed so all the powder blends evenly into the mixture.
  • Taste the mixture before moving on to the next step. If you prefer a sweeter dessert, add a little extra keto sweetener gradually and blend again briefly. It’s always easier to add sweetness slowly rather than making it overly sweet at the start.
  • For a thicker and fluffier texture, add a handful of ice cubes into the blender and blend again until the mixture becomes airy, creamy, and soft-serve-like. The ice helps create extra volume while making the texture feel cold and refreshing.
  • If the fluff becomes too thick during blending, add a small splash of almond milk and blend again until you reach your preferred consistency. The texture should be thick enough to hold soft swirls but still smooth and spoonable.
  • Transfer the finished protein fluff into a serving bowl or freezer-safe container using a spoon or silicone spatula. Make sure to scrape out every bit because the mixture thickens beautifully around the edges.
  • If you want a mousse-like or frozen soft-serve consistency, place the bowl or container into the freezer for about 15–20 minutes. This short chilling time helps the fluff become even creamier and more satisfying without turning icy.
  • Just before serving, gently fold in optional sugar-free chocolate chips or your favorite low-carb toppings. Folding them in at the end keeps the texture fluffy and prevents the toppings from sinking or melting too much.
  • Serve immediately while the fluff is cold, creamy, and freshly blended. Top with extra peanut butter drizzle, chopped nuts, or additional chocolate chips for an even more indulgent keto dessert experience.
