- Sugar 1 cup
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Milk ¾ cup
- Butter ¼ cup, melted
- Brown sugar ½ cup
- Boiling water 1 cup
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in milk and butter until smooth.
Pour batter into baking dish.
Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top. Do not stir.
Pour boiling water over the top. Do not stir.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
