  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Ingredients
  

  • Ground beef 1 lb
  • Ricotta cheese 1 cup
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese 2 cups
  • Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
  • Sugar-free marinara sauce 2 cups
  • Egg 1
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Herbs oregano, basil, thyme
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic, oregano, basil, and thyme. Stir for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and egg. Mix well.
  • In a baking dish, layer the meat sauce, cheese mixture, and repeat. End with a layer of meat sauce.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
  • Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.
